Paddle like a pirate! On Halloween

"Roger, I created this event, Bonnie Cary and I led it, and forty people showed up. What a hoot! It was good to see everyone on the water Halloween morning."

Hudson River kayaking and foliage

We spent the afternoon on the Hudson River out of the Sherman Island Boat Launch. (It's in our Lake George kayaking book.)

While there we found Ken Burl of Corinth out enjoying the day and his Hornbeck boat. We had heard and read about the Hornbeck's but Ken displayed his for us with a beautiful backdrop of fall foliage colors.
